WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 22, 2009) – The Better World Campaign (BWC), which works to improve U.S.-UN relations, announced today the appointment of Michael Beard to the position of Deputy Director.
“Mike brings to the job a track record of success on Capitol Hill,” said Peter Yeo, BWC Executive Director and Vice President for Public Policy at the BWC’s sister organization, the United Nations Foundation. “We are thrilled to leverage his experience in the pursuit of BWC’s mission of supporting strong U.S.-UN relations, including returning the United States to good financial standing at the UN.”
